Red House & Old Lane is located in a lane near Chihkan Tower in Tainan City. Hanlin Tea Room and Song Chun Stewed and Smoked Food are situated at the entrance of the lane. This is a great location to have fun as well as stay. The old house was completely renovated in 2017. The eco-conscious homestay is equipped with Japanese energy-saving and water-saving equipment.

The homestay has Japanese-style tatamis that were created one piece of straw at a time, an inheritance of the craftsmanship and emotions left by elderly men during the Japanese occupation. Sitting on the tatamis is like returning to a simpler and warmer era.
